Went to Josie's for the first time for our weekly date night and loved it. Everything was wonderful, and highly suggest ordering an array of apps as your meal for a great variety. One of the owners, Rebecca, talked with us for a while and was so welcoming and cheerful. We'll definitely be back :)
by Abigail G.Sat at the bar with my wife and the place is great. Food was delicious and the decor esp the white bar top was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time and will be back. If I can make one suggestion it would be to have a couple bartenders who are willing to chat with the guests. You have lots of couples who are locals and like to sit at the bar. You need someone back there who has a sociable personality and can really welcome the guests and carry a conversation. Happy to see the place is super busy.
by Jake M.We have been waiting a long time for Josie's to open up, and we were not disappointed! Gorgeous remodeling inside(This restaurant was formerly Chauncey's) - Someone has a keen eye for aesthetics. The fact that this was the first full week of opening, but running quite smoothly is impressive. We were able to chat briefly with the owner and it's clear she's hand-picking staff and giving the entire venture her full attention. The Bartender is a true craftswoman. And I'm very sorry for butchering the spelling Michaela...? We had the Spiced Pear Manhattan - expertly balanced and delicious. One of the top 3 Manhattans I've ever had. The Pear Martini was also blended deliciously, not syrupy sweet. The "Stinger" cocktail was good, I personally felt the creme De Menthe was overpowering everything, too sweet - but that may be the intention of the mixologist. Our server Brendan was fantastic, very friendly and engaging. Made us feel like old friends. We weren't excessively hungry so we had 2 appetizers and a handheld. The artichoke dip was soooo good, very creamy and light, not thick and cloying like you see so often. I almost didn't go for it due to its commonality. The Arancini was very nice. The perfect amount of cheesy goodness. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was solid, I don't partake but it's one of my wife's go-to sandwiches. I was very intrigued with some of the larger entrees and we'll definitely be back to try more things. If you're doing this well after a couple weeks, then Leadership/Team is doing something right!
by Mark H.Amazing service, wonderful attention to detail, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Usually with new restaurants they take a couple months to get a groove, but it’s like these people have been working together forever. They’re killing it!!! 10/10 will return.
by Ty B.Went here with a large group. The space is beautifully renovated and has a relaxed but upscale vibe. Service was great, and the cocktails were top notch. Highlight was the food though. Lamb lollipops were seriously amazing. The lobster roll is huge for the price ($26) and very well made. Josie’s is a great addition to the area, and I will definitely be back!
